True Vigilants

Create your own banner at mybannermaker.com!I've been thinking lately about the word vigilant.

It means taking matters into your own hands.

I guess that doesn't really fit.  Because the truth of the matter is, the only way my marriage can not only survive but flourish is by the very grace of God.

That's why I write about prayer so much on Mondays.

And it's why I'm praying for you.  And for your marriages.

This week, I would love to renew my commitment to pray for you.  So go ahead and leave a comment and I will go ahead and pray for you by name (or by some other distingishing detail if you don't feel comfy leaving your name).

Have a truly blessed week.

Prayer is something that has been on my heart. Even borrowed that book by Stormie? Ugh, I can't remember the title, but I know you know the one cause you have mentioned it before. =0) My prayer request is to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading in the every day stuff on how to be a better wife and with my kids. Thanks for asking. Any prayer requests from you?

I've slowed down the blogging so that I CAN be more vigilant as a wife and mom! Still, it's good to be back! ;-)

I suppose my prayer request is to walk by the Spirit and sow to the Spirit - to slow down my thinking and responses (reactions!) to circumstances so that I can hear from the Holy Spirit in a moment, and rise above and have victory over the flesh!

I will be praying for you too, my friend. I think it will be required as we begin this Bible study together. I pray that God does wonderful things in our marriages and the marriages of the women who come!
